The laugh is modelled on Vincent Price's famous closing laugh on Michael Jackson's Thriller, released in 1982, where Price delivers a spoken horror-movie monologue before breaking into a theatrical cackle as the track ends. That ending became one of the most imitated spooky laughs in pop culture, sampled and re-recorded in countless Halloween mixes, parodies and meme edits. Short clips of the laugh now circulate on soundboards because the sound is instantly recognisable, even without the song, and it can turn almost any reveal into a playful horror moment.
O tym dźwięku
The eerie Thriller-style laugh made famous by Vincent Price, used as a spooky sound effect for Halloween edits, horror memes and jump-scare reveals.
The clip is a long, theatrical villain laugh in the style of the closing laugh from Thriller, rising from a low chuckle into a high, cackling burst that sounds deliberately creepy rather than joyful. It has a dry, close-mic feel, with each laugh landing sharply enough to cut through music or dialogue, so it works as an instant signal that something sinister or ridiculous is about to happen. Played on its own it feels campy and Halloween-ready, but dropped after a reveal or a failed plan it turns the moment into a joke, making the audience laugh along with the villain instead of at the scare itself.
