The sound comes from SML, the long running YouTube puppet comedy series originally known as SuperMarioLogan, created by Logan Thirtyacre. Bowser Junior is one of its central troublemakers, while Jackie Chu is the strict classroom teacher he constantly winds up, making their clashes a recurring gag. Clips from these school scenes are often cut into short soundboard and meme sounds online, where the isolated punch travels far beyond the original episode. Its familiarity for SML fans and instant readability for everyone else keep it in regular use.

SML Junior punching Jackie Chu sound effect from the SuperMarioLogan series, a short punch and reaction clip used for meme edits and fight jokes.
This clip captures Bowser Junior landing a sudden punch on his teacher Jackie Chu in an SML classroom scene, built around a sharp impact hit and an exaggerated reaction. The hit lands fast and clean, with the cartoonish thump doing most of the comedy before the voices react. Because the moment is so abrupt, it feels less like a real fight and more like a perfectly timed joke, which is why viewers instantly read it as playful chaos rather than genuine violence. The short length keeps the surprise intact every time it is replayed in an edit.
