Tails, full name Miles Prower, is the two-tailed fox sidekick from Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, first appearing alongside Sonic in the early 1990s games. His ability to fly by spinning his tails became one of his most recognisable traits, and the whirring sound that accompanies it is now widely shared as a short clip online. Creators reuse it because it instantly signals cartoon flight without any dialogue, keeping it popular in gaming edits, reaction videos and memes long after its original games.
O tym dźwięku
The spinning propeller sound of Tails flying from Sonic the Hedgehog, a short whirring effect used in memes and edits when a character takes off or flies away.
The sound is the short, rapid whirring Tails makes when he spins his two tails like a helicopter rotor to lift off the ground. It has a light, buzzy, looping quality that instantly reads as small-scale flight, playful and a little frantic rather than powerful. Played over a jump, a takeoff or a character suddenly leaving a scene, it turns an ordinary movement into a cartoon escape, signalling that someone is flying away quickly, comically and just barely under control.
