The sound comes from Jexi, the 2019 comedy film about a man whose new phone assistant takes over his life. Voiced by Rose Byrne, Jexi is helpful at first but quickly becomes controlling, blunt and foul mouthed, which made her lines easy to clip. This alarm line spread through WhatsApp audio shares and soundboards as a short wake up joke, separate from the film plot. Its popularity comes from the contrast between a normal phone alarm function and an insulting command that still sounds like a real notification.

Shouting wake up bitch as a loud phone alarm, the assistant from the movie Jexi delivers a rude tone shared for pranks and morning messages online daily.
This is the aggressive wake up alarm voiced by Jexi, the phone assistant from the comedy film Jexi, shouting wake up bitch instead of a gentle tone. The clip starts blunt and loud, with the insult delivered like a drill sergeant command meant to shock someone out of sleep. It is only a few seconds long but feels confrontational and funny because the robotic assistant has no politeness filter. Listeners use it for the jolt, turning an ordinary morning alarm moment into a rude, meme style jump scare for friends who oversleep.
