Its popularity reflects how the fandom reuses familiar character lines to comment on everyday surprising moments online.

Match saying yeah I know she was so surprised from Battle for Dream Island, a short voice line used for reaction edits and surprised gossip moments.
This is Match from Battle for Dream Island delivering the line yeah I know she was so surprised in her distinctive high pitched valley girl voice. The delivery is casual and gossipy, with a drawn out emphasis that makes the surprise sound both amused and a little judgmental. It lasts just a couple of seconds and cuts off cleanly, so the joke lands instantly. Viewers familiar with the series recognize Match immediately, while others hear a perfect reaction to unbelievable news, turning a simple comment into a comedic punchline about someone else being caught off guard.
