Caustic, also known as Alexander Nox, is one of the original Legends in Apex Legends, the battle royale released by Respawn Entertainment in 2019. A former scientist turned toxic trapper, he is known for his gas-based abilities and his detached, experimental view of combat. His character selection lines are heard in the game's lobby whenever players choose him, and short recordings of those lines have since circulated on soundboards and in fan edits. They remain popular because they instantly signal his cold personality to anyone familiar with the game.

Caustic character selection quotes from Apex Legends, delivered in his cold, scientific tone. Players use it for stream intros, montages and Apex-themed edits.
This short clip collects Caustic's lines from the Apex Legends character selection screen, spoken in a low, measured voice that sounds more like a scientist observing an experiment than a soldier preparing for battle. His delivery is calm, dry and faintly menacing, with pauses that let each threat or observation land before the next one begins. For players, hearing it instantly recalls the lobby screen and the moment before dropping into a match, and for viewers it sets a cold, calculating mood that works well as an introduction for a villainous or tactical character.
