The sound comes from the creator himself, who recorded the Auuu howl as his own voice in a War Thunder gameplay video he described as his best action. Tagged online with wolf, dog, coyote, animal and Twitch, the clip was shared as a short standalone effect rather than as part of a film or show. Its appeal online is simple: a human doing a full, committed animal howl works as a reaction, a celebration and a joke by itself, so editors keep reusing it for gaming and animal themed posts.

Auuu is a loud human wolf howl sound effect recorded by a creator from a War Thunder video, used for funny animal impressions and reaction clips.
This clip is a person throwing their head back and letting out a long, exaggerated Auuu howl that imitates a wolf, dog or coyote calling in the wild. The voice starts tight and high, then stretches out and wobbles as the creator holds the note for comic effect over the full fifteen seconds. It does not sound like a real animal recording, and that human quality is the joke. Viewers hear it as playful, a little feral and instantly silly, which makes even a serious gameplay moment feel like a cartoon pack howl.
