Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans come from Harry Potter, where the sweets famously include earwax, earthworm and vomit flavours alongside normal ones. Trying them blind became a popular YouTube challenge, including videos by Japanese creators such as Hikakin and Seikin, whose exaggerated tasting reactions were clipped and shared as memes. This vomit flavour moment spread as a short reaction sound because the gagging needs no context or translation. It remains used in taste test edits and disgust memes where a single bad flavour ruins the whole challenge.

A Japanese YouTuber gagging after tasting the vomit flavor from Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, used for gross food and disgusted reaction clips.
This is a short gagging and retching reaction recorded while tasting a vomit flavoured jelly bean from the Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans challenge. The sound builds from a shocked pause into strained coughing, spluttering and a clear urge to spit the candy out, making the disgust feel immediate and physical. Because the reaction is exaggerated but completely understandable, viewers instantly read it as a revolting taste moment. It works as a punchline for bad food, a failed taste test, or any clip where something turns out far more unpleasant than expected.
