Excellent became one of the defining catchphrases of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, the 1989 comedy starring Alex Winter as Bill and Keanu Reeves as Ted. In the film, the two friends use the word to approve everything from a good plan to a wild time travel adventure, and the exaggerated delivery helped it stick long after the credits. As clips circulated on video sites and soundboards, creators adopted it as a quick stamp of approval for wins, jokes, and unexpected successes, keeping the line alive for new audiences.

The famous Excellent line spoken by Bill and Ted in their 1989 comedy, used by creators to celebrate a win, a clever idea, or a perfectly timed joke.
The clip captures Bill and Ted shouting their signature Excellent in unison, with the same goofy, triumphant energy that made the line famous in the 1989 film. Their voices are bright and a little over the top, rising together before landing on a punchy, satisfied finish that feels like a high five in audio form. It is short enough to drop into a reaction, a reveal, or a punchline without slowing the edit, and it instantly signals approval, excitement, and shared enthusiasm. Hearing it makes a small moment feel bigger, sillier, and much more fun.
