The line comes from MontanaBlack, one of Germany's biggest Twitch streamers, whose blunt reactions during gaming streams became quotable memes. 'Das war's komplett' is a typical German expression meaning 'that's completely it,' and his exaggerated delivery of it stuck with viewers. Short clips of the phrase spread across soundboards, TikTok edits and Discord servers, where German-speaking creators use it as a verbal facepalm. It endures because the resigned tone fits any content where a plan falls apart, from failed speedruns to everyday mishaps.

MontanaBlack's 'Das wars mal wieder komplett' voice clip, played when something goes completely wrong. A German catchphrase for fails, wipeouts and defeats.
This three-second voice clip captures German streamer MontanaBlack sighing out one of his signature lines, 'Das war's mal wieder komplett' — roughly, 'that was completely it again.' His delivery is flat and exasperated, the tone of a man who has watched yet another round, match or plan collapse in real time. There is no music or background noise, just the deadpan resignation in his voice. Dropping it over a clip instantly tells the viewer the situation is beyond saving, which is why it works as a punchline for fails, betrayals and comically total defeats.
