Davy Jones is the sea captain villain from the Pirates of the Caribbean films, recognisable for his tentacled face and deep, theatrical voice. This soundboard version leans into that persona and pushes it into parody, presenting his speech as a scrambled new language rather than a line from a film scene. Its Portuguese title, which translates as Davy Jones created a new language, points to how meme editors repurpose familiar villains for short, shareable jokes. That remix quality keeps it useful: the character is instantly recognisable, while the joke needs no plot context to land.

A garbled Davy Jones voice clip that sounds like the Pirates of the Caribbean villain invented a new language, used for confused reactions in memes.
This short clip takes Davy Jones, the tentacled sea captain from Pirates of the Caribbean, and turns his deep, menacing voice into something gloriously unintelligible. Instead of a clear threat or command, his words tumble out scrambled, slurred and rearranged, as if he suddenly forgot how his own language works and invented a stranger one on the spot. The contrast is what makes it funny: the dramatic delivery stays completely serious while the meaning collapses entirely. Listeners hear authority, menace and total confusion at once, which makes the moment land as an absurd punchline rather than a scary one.
