Bob Velseb is a recurring character in Spooky Month, the animated horror-comedy web series by Sr Pelo that follows Skid and Pump through Halloween-themed misadventures. Bob is remembered as a cheerful but dangerous figure, which makes his friendly lines feel unsettling when taken out of context. Fans began sharing short clips of his dialogue on YouTube and TikTok, where the contrast between his tone and his intentions became a running joke. That contrast is why editors still reuse the line for creepy reveals and dark humour edits today.

Bob Velseb's 'did you...' line from Spooky Month, delivered in his unsettling, cheerful tone. Fans use it for creepy reveals, prank edits and horror memes.
This is the moment Bob Velseb trails off mid-question, his voice bright and friendly in a way that feels completely wrong for what he is about to do. The clip keeps that awkward pause hanging, letting the listener fill in the threat themselves, which is why it lands so well in edits. It sounds casual on the surface, almost like small talk, but the cheerful delivery and sudden stop give it a creepy, unpredictable edge. Viewers tend to laugh nervously first, then realise the joke is that Bob is not really asking at all.
