Free Robux scams have been a running joke in the Roblox community for years, with fake generators and giveaways promising currency that never arrives. Rickrolling, the bait-and-switch prank built around Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up, became one of the internet's most recognisable tricks after spreading through forums and video links in the late 2000s. This clip mashes the two ideas together, promising the first scam while denying the second, and it survives because both jokes are instantly recognisable to gamers who have seen the same promises online.

A short prank audio that promises free Robux while insisting it is not a Rick Roll, popular for trolling friends in Roblox memes and gaming clips.
This 22-second clip plays on the classic free Robux bait, teasing a reward every Roblox player wants before reassuring the listener that it is not a Rick Roll. The voice is playful and conspiratorial, leaning into the joke rather than delivering a real offer, which makes the punchline land as soon as listeners realise they have been set up for a prank instead of a scam. It works because it flips expectations twice, first promising something too good to be true, then denying the most famous bait-and-switch in internet history. Played in a video or sent to a friend, it creates a quick moment of suspicion, relief, and laughter.
