Imagine was released by John Lennon in 1971 as the title track of his second solo album and became one of his most recognised songs. The chipmunk version is a later internet remix that speeds up and raises the pitch of the vocal for comic effect. It circulated on TikTok and soundboards where users tagged it with Beatles and Star Wars references, often pairing the idealistic lyric with Anakin Skywalker edits about good intentions gone wrong. That mix of a famous peace song and silly audio keeps it in rotation for ironic memes.

A chipmunk pitched version of John Lennon singing Imagine, with the imagine all the people lyric sped up high, used for funny meme edits and ironic TikTok posts online.
This is John Lennon's classic piano ballad Imagine, pitch shifted and sped up until his voice sounds like a chipmunk. The familiar opening lyric imagine all the people comes out squeaky, fast and strangely cheerful, completely undercutting the song's sincere, dreamy mood. That contrast is what makes it funny. A serious peace anthem suddenly sounds like a cartoon character singing in a tiny room, so viewers instantly read it as parody rather than tribute. It lands as light, absurd humor, perfect for moments that are meant to feel deep but come across as ridiculous.
