Avgolemono is a well known Greek soup and sauce made with egg, lemon and broth, and kyrios is the Greek word for mister or lord when addressing a man. Combining the two creates a mock formal name that sounds like an important person. The exact recording source is not documented, but the clip has circulated on soundboards as a short Greek meme sound. Its appeal is its randomness, so it is shared mainly for reaction edits, gaming chats and joke introductions rather than for anything related to cooking.

A short Greek voice clip shouting Kyrios Avgolemonos, meaning Mr Egg-Lemon Soup, used as a random funny reaction and meme sound online in videos.
The clip is a brief, emphatic shout of the Greek phrase Kyrios Avgolemonos, literally Mr Avgolemono, referring to the traditional egg and lemon soup. Delivered in a serious, almost formal tone, the absurd contrast between the grand address and a soup name is what makes it land. It lasts just over two seconds, with a clear, punchy delivery that cuts through background noise. Viewers hear it as an instant non sequitur, the kind of random declaration that turns an ordinary moment into a joke without needing any setup or explanation at all.
