Dejiko is the energetic catgirl heroine of Di Gi Charat, a Japanese anime and manga series, and her eye beam is one of her most recognisable furious reactions. The clip spread through anime soundboards and short-form meme edits, where the beaming meme format pairs a sudden glare with an instant, over-the-top retaliation. It remains popular because the effect is instantly readable even without dialogue, and it sits alongside other exaggerated anime eye powers such as Mangekyo Sharingan in fan edits. Short, loud and comic, it fits reaction videos, gaming moments and anime compilations.

Dejiko's furious laser eye beam sound from Di Gi Charat, a sharp anime blast used in memes and edits when a character unleashes a sudden attack.
This short clip captures Dejiko, the green-haired catgirl from Di Gi Charat, at her most furious, firing her signature eye beam in a burst of anime energy. The sound is a bright, rising zap that cuts sharply through a scene, suggesting a powerful blast released in a single furious glance. It feels exaggerated and comic rather than threatening, turning anger into a cartoon weapon that lands instantly. For viewers, it works as a punchline in itself, signalling that a character has finally snapped and is striking back with absurd, over-the-top force.
