Metaleiro Come Lixo circulates as a short Portuguese-language meme sound, shared in online humour, chats, and short video edits where a single absurd line can carry a joke. Its appeal does not depend on a well-known film or show, but on the memorable contrast in its wording, which is easy to quote, remix, and drop into unrelated clips. Because the clip lasts just over a second, creators can use it as a quick reaction without slowing a video down, and that brevity helps explain why it keeps appearing in reaction edits and group chats.

A short Portuguese meme clip titled Metaleiro Come Lixo, used as a funny reaction sound for absurd, gross-out, or metalhead jokes in edits and chats.
This is a very short Portuguese spoken clip built around the phrase Metaleiro Come Lixo, which translates roughly as metalhead eats trash. In just over a second, the voice delivers the line bluntly and without explanation, which is exactly what makes it land as a joke. The humour comes from the clash between the tough metalhead image and the ridiculous idea of eating garbage, so listeners tend to laugh first and ask questions later. Dropped into a video or chat, it works as an instant punchline, a mocking reaction, or a deliberately absurd interruption that breaks the mood and resets the joke.
