Jade is a recurring fighter in the Mortal Kombat series, and this scream comes from Mortal Kombat 9, the 2011 reboot released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In the game, Jade fights with a staff and boomerang-like blades, and the clip captures the vocal sound played when she is knocked out in a match. Short gameplay sounds like this have been shared widely on soundboards and in fan edits, where the instantly recognisable defeat cry works as a quick reaction for losses in other games and videos.

The KO scream from Jade in Mortal Kombat 9, a sharp female cry heard when she is knocked out. Creators use it for dramatic defeats, fails and reaction edits.
This short clip captures Jade's defeat scream from Mortal Kombat 9, a high-pitched, sudden cry that cuts off sharply as she falls. It is not a line of dialogue but a raw vocal reaction, strained and panicked, with a brief echo of the game's arena sound behind it. Hearing it instantly signals a knockout, so it lands as a punchline for a loss rather than a generic shout. The brevity makes it easy to drop over a failed attempt, a gaming clip or a meme edit, where its dramatic, almost theatrical pain turns an ordinary defeat into something funny and over-the-top.
