P.T., short for Playable Teaser, was a free 2014 PlayStation demo that teased the cancelled Silent Hills project and became famous for its looping hallway and hidden scares. Its radio broadcasts and distorted announcements gave players fragments of a disturbing story, and lines like this one were clipped and shared by horror fans long after the demo was removed from stores. The sound endures because it instantly signals classic horror tension, making it a shorthand for dread in short videos, streams and edits.

A short, eerie voice clip from the horror game teaser P.T. warning listeners not to touch that dial, often used in creepy edits and horror reaction videos.
The clip opens with a calm, almost old-fashioned radio voice telling the listener not to touch that dial, delivered in a flat, instructional tone that feels oddly reassuring at first. Beneath it there is a faint, uneasy stillness that makes the simple warning feel like a threat rather than advice, as if something is about to happen if you look away. That contrast is what gives it its power in edits, turning an ordinary broadcast phrase into a moment of dread. Played over a jump scare setup or a dark hallway shot, it primes viewers to expect danger and makes the silence that follows feel much heavier.
