PBBV is a ghostly figure from Gorilla Tag player lore, shared in sighting videos and creepypasta style stories across TikTok and YouTube. The radio connection siren became attached to those clips as a signal that contact has been made, similar in use to a danger alarm sound effect meme that warns something is wrong. Players use the name and the noise together to build suspense before a chase or disappearance. Its popularity comes from that instant recognition among fans who know the hunt.

PBBV radio connection siren from Gorilla Tag, a crackling alert and wailing alarm used for ghost sightings, jumpscare edits and creepy gaming moments.
This clip blends a distorted radio connection tone with a rising siren wail, creating an urgent warning that feels pulled straight from a Gorilla Tag ghost encounter. The static crackle makes it sound like a headset cutting in and out, while the siren pushes the tension higher over its short run. Listeners instantly read it as danger approaching rather than a normal notification. It works because the sound is harsh, repetitive and slightly uncanny, leaving viewers waiting for PBBV to appear around the next corner of the map.
