No specific film, show or creator is credited with this clip, so its history is tied to online soundboards and meme editing rather than a single release. Short fart effects have circulated for years as a fart button gag and a staple fart meme sound, shared because they need no context and register instantly on mobile speakers. This squelchy version stands out for its wet texture and speed, which makes it easy to loop, layer into compilations, or drop into streams and group chats whenever a crude, universally understood joke is needed.

A quick and squelchy fart sound effect lasting under a second, with a wet burst perfect for prank videos, meme edits and gross-out reaction jokes.
This is a very short, wet fart that lands in under a second, starting with a tight squeak and collapsing into a squelchy, bubbly splutter. There is no build-up or long rumble, just an immediate, messy burst that sounds unmistakably rude. That bluntness is what makes it funny, because it cuts through a quiet moment or a serious line and instantly lowers the tone. Listeners recognise the joke straight away, so it works even without a visual gag, as a sudden punctuation mark that turns embarrassment, failure or awkward silence into a quick laugh.
