Skar King was introduced as the main antagonist of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire in 2024, an ancient orangutan-like Titan who enslaved other apes in the Hollow Earth and controlled Shimo with a crystal. Unlike Kong, he was designed as a cruel, wiry tyrant, and his sharper, screeching roar helped sell that difference. Short roar clips from trailers and the film were quickly ripped to soundboards as standalone effects, with alternate cuts labelled as version two, and are now reused far beyond MonsterVerse edits as generic monster intimidation sounds.

This is the short, aggressive roar of Skar King, the lanky red-furred ape Titan who rules as a tyrant in the Hollow Earth. The clip is all primal threat in just a few seconds: a raspy inhale explodes into a high, screeching bellow layered with deep chest resonance, part ape scream and part monster growl. It does not sound heroic like Kong, it sounds cruel and commanding, which is why it lands instantly as a villain entrance. Played over a face, a pet or a game character, it turns a small moment into a mock boss reveal.
