Об этом звуке

This is a stern, accented voice line lasting a little over four seconds, scolding the listener with a sharp, contemptuous delivery of 'shameful display'. It feels mockingly dramatic, turning a small mistake into a disgraced defeat and making the judgement funny rather than serious. It comes from Creative Assembly's Total War: Shogun games, where a poor battlefield showing earns this blunt rebuke.

Профессиональный совет

Let the failure speak first, then hit the line once and stop. The rebuke works because it sounds far too grand for the mistake, so playing it twice or over a long explanation weakens the contrast.

Полезно знать

Place it at the end of a failed attempt, just after the mistake is clear, so it acts as the verdict on the clip. Pair it with CJ Here We Go Again when the player tries again, and follow it with No God Please No if the next attempt also collapses.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

Can I set the Shameful Display sound as a ringtone?

Yes, save the MP3 to your phone and choose it as your ringtone in your sound settings. On most phones you can assign it to all calls or to one contact, so the rebuke plays when they call.

What kind of fail works best with the Shameful Display sound?

It works best for confident plans that fall apart in public, especially in games. A bold strategy, a missed easy shot or a boast that backfires gives the rebuke a clear target.

What should I pair with the Shameful Display sound in a game edit?

Pair it with a reaction sound after the failure, or a restart line when the player tries again. Keep the rebuke as the verdict, then let the next sound show the fallout or the retry.
