'Unravel' is the opening theme of the first season of the Tokyo Ghoul anime, performed by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure and released in 2014 alongside the show's debut. The song quickly became one of the most recognisable anime openings of its era, beloved for its emotional falsetto chorus and dark tone matching the series. Years later it still anchors countless AMVs, piano covers and anime compilation edits, and its chorus is instantly recognisable even to viewers who never watched the show.

The haunting Unravel opening from Tokyo Ghoul (2014), the anime's most famous intro. Its soaring rock vocals are a favorite for anime edits and AMVs.
'Unravel' opens with a lonely, reverb-soaked guitar arpeggio before drums and TK's unmistakable falsetto crash in, building into one of the most dramatic anime intros ever recorded. The vocal climbs from a whisper to a desperate, soaring cry while the instrumentation swells around it, giving the clip a feeling of beautiful collapse. For viewers it triggers instant recognition and a wave of nostalgia, plus genuine chills when the chorus hits. The tension between fragile melody and raw rock energy is what makes it so repeatable.
