Maria (I Like It Loud) is a 2003 single by German techno group Scooter, from their album The Stadium Techno Experience. Built for stadiums and large crowds, its loud, chantable chorus quickly made it a favourite goal celebration song in football, especially at German indoor tournaments, where it became known as a Torsong, or goal song. Shared through fan videos, highlight reels and soundboards, it has stayed in use because its energy fits the exact moment of a goal, turning a single score into a shared celebration.

Scooter's Maria (I Like It Loud) chorus is a high-energy football goal song, played at indoor tournaments and parties to celebrate goals and hype up the crowd.
This is the explosive chorus of Scooter's Maria (I Like It Loud), built around a pounding techno beat, driving synths and H.P. Baxxter's shouted vocals urging listeners to turn the music up. The track bursts in loud and fast, with a chant-like hook that is easy to shout along to even on a first listen. It feels triumphant, chaotic and deliberately over the top, which is why it works so well as a celebration sound. Hearing those opening bars instantly signals something big has just happened and invites everyone nearby to cheer, dance and join in.
