This clip circulates online as a Brazilian Portuguese meme sound, with the word potaria giving it its cheeky, party-ready meaning in everyday slang. Rather than being tied to one widely documented scene, it has spread through short videos, memes and messaging apps, where the phrase works as a shorthand for fun about to get messy. Its appeal is simple and repeatable: a short, energetic announcement that fits almost any build-up to chaos. That flexibility has kept it in rotation for creators who want an instant, recognisable hype moment.

A short Brazilian Portuguese voice clip saying vai começar a potaria, used to announce that chaos, partying or messy fun is about to begin in memes and videos.
This ten-second clip features a voice in Brazilian Portuguese declaring that the potaria is about to begin, delivered with the rising energy of someone hyping up a crowd before things get wild. The phrasing is playful and deliberately over-the-top, landing somewhere between a party announcement and a warning that chaos is coming. Listeners instantly understand the joke even without knowing the original context, because the tone does the work: excited, mischievous and ready for trouble. That is why it works so well as a punchline, turning an ordinary moment into the start of something unpredictable.
