There is no single famous source for this clip, which is typical of short prank sounds shared on user-made soundboards. It appears to be a simple designed effect that combines footsteps with a fart, made to be reused in jokes rather than taken from a film or television show. Because the idea is instantly understood without dialogue, it travels well in short videos, reaction clips and gaming moments, where a walking character suddenly becomes the punchline. Its appeal is broad, low-effort comedy that works in almost any language.

A funny walking fart sound effect that pairs footsteps with a long fart, often used in prank clips and comedy edits when a character walks past or sneaks away.
This clip combines steady walking footsteps with a drawn-out fart that follows the walker, turning an ordinary stroll into an instant joke. The footsteps keep a regular rhythm while the flatulence sound rises, sputters and fades, making it feel as if someone cannot hold it in while trying to act normal. Listeners usually laugh because the contrast is so blunt: a calm, everyday walk interrupted by something rude and unmistakable. It works best as a quick punchline rather than background noise, since the sound is bold, silly and hard to ignore once it starts.
