The exact origin of the Gleggmire tooth paste clip is unclear, and the phrase itself appears to be invented nonsense rather than a quote from a known film, show or game. It circulates on soundboards as a short meme sound, found mainly through searches for the single word gleggmire. Its appeal online is its randomness, with users sharing it as a reaction, a prank sound and a deliberately baffling insert in short videos where a normal toothpaste reference would be expected.
About this sound
The Gleggmire tooth paste sound is a short nonsensical meme clip used for random, gross-out comedy moments and absurd edits on social media.
This is a brief, oddball clip built around the made-up phrase Gleggmire tooth paste, delivered with a weird, squelchy energy that makes it sound both disgusting and funny at the same time. The humour comes from how meaningless the words are, so the sound lands like a random non sequitur dropped into a normal scene. It works best as a punchline on its own, cutting through silence or a serious moment and leaving viewers confused for a beat before the absurdity hits. Its short length keeps the joke tight and replayable.
