A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers in Harlem, New York, is an American rapper and member of the A$AP Mob collective known for a confident, laid back flow. Short vocal cuts from interviews, tracks and live moments by artists like him are often isolated on soundboards because a single phrase is easy to reuse. This STFU clip spread through meme edits, reaction videos and gaming compilations, where creators needed a fast, recognisable shut down line that works without context and can be dropped over almost any footage.
About this sound
Short clip of A$AP Rocky saying shut the fuck up, taken from his vocal ad-lib style and used as a blunt reaction sound in edits and memes online.
This is a very short voice clip of rapper A$AP Rocky delivering a sharp STFU, as in shut the fuck up, with a flat dismissive tone. The delivery is quick, clipped and instantly readable, lasting just over a second with no music underneath. It works as a comedic shut down, cutting off an annoying take, a bad joke or an unwanted suggestion without needing any explanation. The contrast between the calm delivery and the rude wording is what makes it land, letting editors drop it in for an abrupt, funny stop in conversation.
