About this sound

A glitchy ahahhh ha ha ha laugh sound effect with stuttering, distorted repeats. Creators use it for broken reactions, fake glitches and chaotic meme edits.

This sound is a stretched, glitchy laugh that starts with a long ahahhh before breaking into repeated ha ha ha bursts. The audio stutters, cuts and repeats like a frozen video call or a corrupted game clip, making a normal laugh feel broken and absurd. That digital distortion is the joke, turning amusement into panic, mockery or system failure. It lands hardest when something on screen is clearly malfunctioning, because the laugh sounds happy at first, then increasingly unhinged as the glitches pile up over ten seconds.

Pro tip

Place the first ahahhh right before a freeze frame, then let the stuttering ha ha ha play over pixelation or a buffering wheel. Keep it at full volume, do not loop it, and cut it off abruptly for a fake crash.

How people use it

Drop it when a game character freezes mid laugh.
Use it for fake buffering and broken video call jokes.
Add it to reactions that suddenly glitch and repeat.
Play it over chaotic edits where laughter turns corrupted.

More information

The ahahhh ha ha ha glitch clip has no confirmed original source and circulates mainly as a meme sound effect for broken laughter. Its long opening cry and chopped repeats made it easy to reuse as a shorthand for a video, game or reaction that has stopped working properly. Editors pair it with similar reaction sounds like the cat laugh meme and other distorted laughs, using the glitch as the punchline rather than natural amusement. It remains popular because the failure effect is instantly readable even without context.
