There is no confirmed source for this clip; it appears to be a user-uploaded vocal gag rather than audio taken from a film, show or game. Sounds like this live a second life on soundboards, where short mouth-made effects are collected for streamers, editors and meme pages. The 'pew pew' laser is one of the internet's oldest joke weapons, showing up in everything from home videos to gaming streams whenever someone wants a battle to feel deliberately unserious. Its charm is its handmade quality: anyone can do it, so everyone does.
About this sound
A short vocal clip of an excited 'ahh' followed by mouth-made laser 'pew pew' fire. Creators use it for pretend shootouts, gaming fails and silly action edits.
The clip opens with a quick, high-energy 'ahh' that sounds like someone winding up for something dramatic, then snaps into a run of rapid 'pew pew' noises made with the mouth, mimicking cartoon laser fire. The whole thing lasts only a moment, and the contrast between the dramatic inhale and the silly laser barrage is what makes it funny. It lands best as a punchline sound: the 'ahh' builds a split second of tension and the 'pew pews' release it into pure goofiness, turning any fake battle or over-the-top reaction into a joke.
