Plus Ultra is the motto of U.A. High School in My Hero Academia and the signature rallying cry of All Might, the series' Symbol of Peace, who uses it to push himself and others beyond their limits. The Japanese-dubbed delivery became a favourite clip for anime fans because it condenses that heroic ideal into a single, instantly recognisable shout. Shared through edits, reaction videos and meme compilations, it now works far beyond the show itself as shorthand for effort, determination and a dramatic comeback.
About this sound
All Might's Plus Ultra shout from My Hero Academia, delivered with heroic intensity for motivational edits, anime reactions and hype moments.
This clip captures All Might at full heroic throttle, roaring his signature Plus Ultra catchphrase in the Japanese dub with a deep, booming voice that builds from a determined growl into a triumphant, almost explosive shout. Layered over swelling music and impact sounds, it feels larger than life, as if the Symbol of Peace is breaking through a limit in real time. The delivery is earnest, loud and unmistakably shonen, turning an ordinary moment into a declaration of going beyond. Listeners instantly recognise the swagger and optimism of the character, which is why the line lands as both a joke and a genuine hype trigger.
