Alphabet Lore is an animated web series created by Mike Salcedo and released on YouTube in 2022, turning each letter A to Z into a character with its own personality and story arc. F became one of its most recognisable figures, and short clips of the character were quickly cut into memes and soundboard posts. This bubble gum moment spread because the chewing is instantly readable even without the animation, letting creators reuse it on unrelated videos while fans still recognise the source and the character behind the sound.
About this sound
Alphabet Lore bubble gum sound effect of F chewing gum, with a sticky chew and pop from the animated series, used in funny meme and food edits.
This clip captures F from Alphabet Lore mid chew, with wet smacking, stretching gum and a soft bubble pop packed into under three seconds. The sound is close and exaggerated, so every chew feels cartoonish rather than realistic. It lands as gross, silly and oddly satisfying at the same time, which is why it works as a quick punchline. Drop it over a character eating, thinking too hard or acting smug and the scene instantly turns into a meme without needing any dialogue or explanation from the viewer in the moment at all.
