Among Us was released by Innersloth in 2018 and surged in popularity in 2020, when its emergency meetings, tasks and impostor accusations became a major online meme. The slang term sus, short for suspicious, spread far beyond the game. Fans began remixing its minimal sounds and imagery into other genres, including dramatic anime openings that treat crewmates like heroes in a serious series. This short theme clip follows that trend, circulating on soundboards as a quick musical punchline for impostor jokes and edited gameplay.
About this sound
A short anime-style theme inspired by Among Us, turning the sus crewmate meme into a dramatic opening song for edits, reveals and gaming videos.
This clip reimagines the Among Us impostor meme as a fast, dramatic anime opening theme. Bright synths, punchy drums and an urgent melodic hook build in just a few seconds, making an ordinary crewmate moment feel like the start of an epic episode. The joke comes from the contrast between the simple, suspicious game characters and the over-the-top heroic energy of the music. Viewers instantly read it as playful tension, as if a sus player is about to be exposed in slow motion with maximum stakes and a title sequence to match.
