Ao Shin is a dragon champion concept associated with League of Legends champion select, and clips of his voice circulate among longtime players who remember early champion teasers. Because he never became a standard playable pick in that original form, the audio has a cult, archival appeal rather than mainstream meme status. Creators reuse it in League retrospectives, champion concept videos and fantasy edits, where its calm, ancient tone instantly signals a powerful dragon character even to viewers who never played the original concept.
About this sound
Ao Shin champion select voice lines from League of Legends, with the ancient storm dragon speaking calmly as players lock in the champion before a match.
This 11-second clip captures Ao Shin's voice from champion select in League of Legends, where the ancient storm dragon introduces himself in a slow, measured tone that feels powerful without shouting. The delivery is deep and deliberate, with pauses that let each line land, giving the character an old, almost godlike presence before gameplay even begins. For listeners, it works as a moment of anticipation: the quiet confidence makes the pick feel important, dramatic and slightly mysterious, rather than loud or comic. It is best heard as a short character moment, not background noise.
