Beomnaeryeoonda is a 2020 song by the South Korean band Leenalchi, reworking a passage from the traditional pansori tale Sugungga in which a tiger comes down from the mountain. The band pairs the old story with modern rock drums and group chanting, giving the folk tale a loud, contemporary pulse. It gained wide attention through the Feel the Rhythm of Korea campaign and online dance and entrance videos, and creators still reuse its opening because the tiger's arrival instantly signals power, confidence and spectacle.
About this sound
The energetic Korean folk-rock chant Tiger Is Coming by Leenalchi, with driving drums and shouted vocals, is used for dramatic entrances and hype edits.
This clip captures the explosive opening energy of Beomnaeryeoonda, where a pounding drumbeat, chanting voices and traditional Korean rhythms collide into a fast, swaggering march. The vocals rise and fall like a crowd announcing something powerful approaching, while the percussion keeps pushing the tempo forward, making the sound feel both ancient and urgently modern. Listeners get a rush of confidence and anticipation from it, as if a scene is about to turn dramatic, funny or triumphant, which is why it works so well as a sudden entrance cue.
