PhantomLord, real name James Varga, built a large following streaming League of Legends on Twitch in the early 2010s, known for loud reactions and viewer interaction. Clips of his jokes and rants were ripped to soundboards during that era of streaming culture. The label Best Joke NA plays on the North America server joke, where NA is used ironically to mean the worst version of something. Preserved as a short board clip, it survives as a nostalgic reaction to bad humour from early Twitch.
About this sound
PhantomLord telling his best joke NA, a short Twitch clip used as a deadpan punchline and reaction sound in streams and meme edits and Discord calls.
This is a twelve second voice clip of streamer PhantomLord delivering what fans ironically call his best joke in North America. The delivery is flat and drawn out, with the humour coming less from the punchline itself and more from the awkward pause and confident tone. Listeners know the joke is meant to land badly, which is exactly why the clip works. It creates a moment of cringe comedy where the audience can react, groan, or laugh at how terrible the attempt is rather than at a clever twist.
