The tune behind the clip comes from If You're Happy and You Know It, a traditional children's singalong built around clapping on cue. This parody version replaces the happy lyric with a racist line, turning a nursery format into shock humour shared on user generated soundboards. It has no confirmed artist, release or original video, and the title appears to be a uploader name rather than a song title. Its spread is typical of short offensive meme clips that survive through reuploads, reaction use and people searching for the clap your hands hook.
About this sound
A five second parody of If You're Happy and You Know It with a sung clap your hands lyric and hand claps, used for shock reactions and meme edits.
This is a short sung clip that twists the familiar children's singalong into an offensive parody, with a voice chanting the clap your hands line over a simple singalong rhythm. Hand claps land on the beat and give the recording a crude, home made soundboard feel. The contrast between the cheerful nursery melody and the hateful lyric is what makes it jarring, and listeners usually react with shock, awkward laughter or disbelief. It plays less like a polished song and more like a deliberately provocative meme meant to catch people off guard in chats and edits.
