The clip comes from Dau cu Banii ca Mitraliera by Romanian manele singer Costel Biju, a track circulated online through reuploads and short excerpts. Its central image of throwing money like a machine gun made the hook easy to quote outside the full song, especially in Romanian speaking online communities. Shortened versions spread as a soundboard and meme sound for jokes about wealth, spending and showing off, where the familiar phrase signals the joke instantly even without the rest of the performance or lyrics.
About this sound
Costel Biju manele clip where he sings dau cu banii ca mitraliera, throwing money like a machine gun, used for flexing and money meme edits.
This is a short excerpt from a Costel Biju manele performance built around the boastful hook dau cu banii ca mitraliera, which compares spending cash to firing a machine gun. The vocal is loud, rhythmic and celebratory, delivered over a fast party beat with the exaggerated confidence typical of Romanian manele flex songs. The phrasing lands like a punchline, turning a simple brag about wealth into something theatrical and funny. Listeners hear it less as a serious claim and more as an over the top character moment made for repeating.
