This sound is known online as Chicken Jockey Funk and is commonly shared as a slowed meme audio on soundboards and short-form video platforms. The name points to the Chicken Jockey joke from Minecraft culture, where the tiny rider setup is already funny before any music is added. The remix spread because its off-kilter funk feel matches ironic edits, game clips and exaggerated reveals. It still gets used because the phrase is recognizable, the beat is easy to time to a cut, and the joke lands fast even in very short videos.
About this sound
A slowed Chicken Jockey meme remix used in Minecraft-style edits, goofy reveal clips and chaotic posts when creators want a weird, funky punchline.
Chicken Jockey Funk is a short slowed meme remix built around the Chicken Jockey joke, with a woozy, bassy groove that feels both playful and slightly absurd. The clip has the kind of offbeat funk energy people use to turn an ordinary reveal into something instantly sillier. It works well when a video cuts to a cursed image, an unexpected game moment or a tiny character doing something way too dramatic. The sound lands as goofy rather than intense, so it adds humor, surprise and a lightly chaotic vibe without completely taking over the edit.
