This sound circulates on user generated soundboards under the shortened title Dary, whats the matter with u, with the informal spelling kept from the original upload. Little is documented about who first recorded it, so its life online is defined by how creators reuse it rather than a known film or show source. The whiny vocal noises and teasing question made it easy to drop into short meme videos, reaction edits and chat soundboards, where it works as a quick joke about someone being dramatic, upset or confused for no clear reason.
About this sound
Dary whats the matter with u is a short voice clip of someone teasingly asking what is wrong, used in meme edits and reaction videos for awkward moments.
The clip features a male voice calling out to Dary and asking what is the matter with you in a drawn out, half concerned and half mocking tone. The delivery stretches the question, starting almost whiny and rising into exaggerated disbelief, which makes it feel more like teasing than a real check in. Paired with the strange wailing noises in the existing version, it lands as pure melodrama. Viewers instantly read it as someone overreacting to a tiny problem, and that contrast is what makes the moment funny and easy to reuse.
