Dekkachan is the fan ship name for Deku and Kacchan, the My Hero Academia heroes Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo, and this clip reworks their intense rivalry into a joke confession followed by fart sounds. It circulates online as a short meme audio rather than a scene from the anime itself, shared in edits, reaction videos and soundboards where the mismatch between romance and crude humour does the work. Its appeal endures because the pairing is instantly recognisable to anime fans, while the punchline needs no context to land.
About this sound
A My Hero Academia meme clip where Kacchan confesses his love to Deku before the moment dissolves into fart sounds, popular for funny edits and reaction videos.
The clip opens with a dramatic, heartfelt confession as Kacchan tells Deku how he feels, played straight enough to make listeners expect a serious romantic moment. Then the tone collapses into loud, silly fart noises that keep interrupting the tenderness, turning the whole scene into an absurd joke. That sudden switch is the point: the sincerity makes the crude punchline funnier, and the longer it goes on, the more ridiculous it feels. Listeners usually laugh at the contrast itself, not at either part alone, which is why the sound works best when it catches people off guard.
