Discord has included a rare variant of its call ringtone since the platform became popular for gaming communities in the late 2010s. Most calls trigger the standard short loop, but on very rare occasions the app plays this extended secret melody instead. Clips capturing it spread across YouTube, Reddit and TikTok because users wanted proof it existed. It is now used online as shorthand for extreme luck, hidden features and rare events, similar to how other game notification sounds like the gta v notification became memes in their own right.
About this sound
The secret rare Discord ringtone that plays instead of the standard call sound. Players chase it as an easter egg during Discord calls.
This is the rare alternate version of the Discord incoming call ringtone, a playful electronic melody that sounds brighter and more elaborate than the default loop. Instead of the familiar short chime, it unfolds into a longer musical phrase over about twenty seconds. Hearing it feels like unlocking a secret because it appears so infrequently, turning an ordinary call notification into a small moment of surprise and bragging rights for anyone in the voice chat.
