About this sound

Tails sings a playful eh eh eh a u eh a chant from Friday Night Funkin's Triple Trouble mod, used in Sonic.exe memes and funny edits for creepy moments.

Tails delivers a short, off-key vocal chant that repeats eh, eh, eh, a, u, eh, a in a wobbly, cartoonish voice, rising and falling without forming real words. The clip comes from the Friday Night Funkin' Triple Trouble mod, where the cheerful Sonic sidekick is twisted into the unsettling Sonic.exe universe, so the innocent-sounding syllables feel both silly and slightly wrong. Its bouncy rhythm and goofy delivery make it instantly recognisable, turning a simple vocal loop into a punchline that lands as playful, eerie and meme-ready.

Pro tip

Drop it over a character staring blankly or glitching into Sonic.exe form, then cut the music the instant the chant ends. Pair it with a zoom or screen shake, but do not loop it more than twice, or the joke loses its weird, catchy timing.

How people use it

Creators use it for glitchy Sonic.exe transformation edits.
It punctuates a character saying something completely nonsensical.
Editors drop it over confused or hypnotised reaction shots.
It adds creepy humour to Friday Night Funkin' meme compilations.

More information

The chant comes from Triple Trouble, a song in the fan-made Friday Night Funkin' mod Vs. Sonic.Exe, where Tails, Knuckles and Eggman face the corrupted Sonic.exe in a singing battle. Tails's strange, wordless vocal section stood out because it sounded cheerful yet unsettling, and fans clipped it for short videos. It spread through YouTube edits, TikTok memes and soundboards, where the eh eh eh a u eh a pattern became a shorthand for goofy horror. It remains popular because it is short, instantly recognisable and easy to drop into Sonic, Friday Night Funkin' and creepypasta jokes.
