Deimos is a central character in the Madness Combat series and a playable protagonist in Madness: Project Nexus, the tactical shooter developed from the long-running Newgrounds-born franchise created by Krinkels. Known as the team's chain-smoking hacker and heavy weapons specialist alongside Hank and Sanford, Deimos has a more laid-back, wisecracking personality than the others. Short voice clips of his dismissive lines circulate on soundboards and in fan edits, where this particular shrug-off line became a reusable reaction for moments when a character simply refuses to engage with what is happening.
