About this sound

Foxy's dum dum song from the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, a short playful animatronic tune fans use in FNAF edits, memes and reaction clips.

Foxy's dum dum song is a short, bouncy vocal chant performed by the pirate fox animatronic, built around a simple repeated dum dum rhythm that sounds cheerful, childlike and slightly off-kilter. The melody is light and catchy, almost like a playground tune, which makes it feel innocent at first before its horror context sinks in. That contrast is exactly why it lands so well: listeners smile at the silliness, then remember Foxy is a dangerous animatronic from a haunted pizzeria. It works as a playful warning, a moment of comic relief, or a creepy-cute sting before something goes wrong.

Pro tip

Drop the dum dum chant just before a reveal or jumpscare cut, letting its cheerful rhythm lull viewers before the scare hits. Pair it with a quick zoom on Foxy or a flashing pizzeria sign, and cut the music sharply instead of fading it out.
