Tung Tung Tung Sahur emerged in early 2025 as part of the Italian brainrot phenomenon, a wave of AI-generated meme characters shared on TikTok with absurd names and catchphrases. The character is an anthropomorphic wooden log carrying a baseball bat, and its signature is the rhythmic tung tung tung sahur chant that doubles as both its name and its sound. Clips of the chant spread through brainrot ranking videos, character battles and meme edits, and the sound became a staple of the wider meme ecosystem, still used today in ironic edits and reaction content.
About this sound
The viral Tung Tung Tung Sahur meme sound, the chanting wooden log character from the 2025 Italian brainrot wave. A funny clip used in brainrot edits, TikTok compilations and reaction memes.
This clip captures the unmistakable chant behind Tung Tung Tung Sahur, the wooden log character with a baseball bat that became the face of the Italian brainrot craze. A voice rhythmically repeats tung tung tung before the sahur punchline lands, usually over a hollow wooden knock that matches the character's body. The loop is goofy, hypnotic and instantly recognisable to anyone who lived through the 2025 brainrot era, and it still gets a laugh simply because the chant is so aggressively committed to nonsense. Hearing it once tends to lodge it in your head for the rest of the day.
