Ara ara is a Japanese expression often spoken by mature anime characters to sound amused, teasing or mildly surprised, and it became a widely copied voice meme online. Girlfriend is the main female character from Friday Night Funkin', the rhythm game released in 2020, which built a large fan editing community. Fan-made versions of her saying the phrase spread across soundboards and short videos, alongside other anime voice memes like tuturu and onii-chan clips. Its short length and recognisable delivery keep it popular for quick reactions and edits.
About this sound
Girlfriend from Friday Night Funkin' says ara ara in a soft anime teasing voice, used for flirty memes, FNF edits and cute reaction clips online.
This is a short voice clip of Girlfriend from Friday Night Funkin' saying the Japanese phrase ara ara in a soft, teasing tone. Delivered slowly with a gentle, slightly breathy uwu style, it sounds cute and playful rather than serious. The contrast between the rhythm game character and the classic anime expression makes it feel instantly flirty and humorous. Viewers usually hear it as a cheeky reaction, perfect for catching attention in the first seconds of an edit or adding a light anime charm to a scene that would otherwise be ordinary and quiet.
