About this sound

A short cartoon evil laugh from The Happos Family, with a mischievous cackle perfect for villain reveals, pranks and funny meme edits and videos.

This clip captures a classic cartoon villain laugh, drawn out into a deep, theatrical cackle that builds and echoes slightly before fading. The voice sounds playful rather than frightening, with an exaggerated rhythm that makes the evil intent feel silly and over the top. It lands instantly as a joke, signalling that a character has hatched a plan or is enjoying someone else's misfortune. Because it is short and clean, the laugh works on its own without music or dialogue, and the cartoon tone keeps even a mean moment light and family friendly for viewers.

Pro tip

Place the laugh right after your character reveals a sneaky plan, letting the cackle finish before cutting to the result. Keep dialogue low underneath, add a brief pause before it starts, and avoid layering other cartoon effects that will mask its echo.

How people use it

Drop it after revealing a harmless prank on friends.
Use it for animated villains announcing their master plan.
Add it to gaming clips after stealing a win.
Play it when a pet does something suspiciously naughty.
