The exact origin of this greeting is unclear, but it circulates as a viral meme on short-form video platforms and meme soundboards. Creators adopted the dolphins punchline because the unexpected third group breaks the familiar guys and girls intro format. Like many goofy ahh sounds, it thrives as a reusable opener rather than a quote from a specific show. Its low-effort humor and friendly energy keep it in rotation for intros, livestreams and compilations where a quick laugh sets the tone.
